The REALTOR® of the Year (ROTY) award is the most prestigious award given by Hawai'i REALTORS® to recognize a member for their achievements within their local board, community, state association (HAR) and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). The Hawai'i ROTY awardee is honored at NAR's Annual Convention along with other ROTY awardees representing their respective states or territories.

The award, which recognizes an outstanding REALTOR® in Hawai'i for their work in the interest of fellow REALTORS®, the profession, and the community, was announced on September 29.
"Kalama has made a profound impact in Hawai‘i’s real estate industry through his leadership and advocacy, as well as his mentorship of local REALTORS®,” said Gina Duncan, 2026 President of Hawai‘i REALTORS®.
