Celebrating creativity and the spirit of fair housing through the eyes of Hawai'i's young artists
The Hawai‘i REALTORS® Fair Housing Keiki Art Contest invites Hawai‘i students in grades K-8 to express what fair housing means to them through art. We're proud to showcase this year’s talented winners whose artwork beautifully captures the spirit of equal housing opportunity and aloha.
Mahalo to all students who participated and submitted their artwork. We received an overwhelming number of creative and heartfelt entries throughout the state — we hope you’ll join us again next year.

In 1968, the Fair Housing Act became law. It prohibits discrimination in housing based on race, color, religion, ancestry/national origin, sex, familial status, physical or mental disability, marital status, age, or sexual orientation and gender identity. This law ensures that everyone has equal access to housing and protects homebuyers from discrimination as they get a mortgage, rent a home, buy a home, seek housing assistance, or participate in other housing-related activities. The fight for fair housing continues today to make sure that the law is followed and to prevent discrimination in housing.
The annual Hawai'i REALTORS® Fair Housing Keiki Art Contest helps children learn about fair housing rights and its importance in Hawai'i's communities.
The contest is open to all students in grades K-8, enrolled in a public, charter, home or private school in Hawai‘i.
