The Hawai‘i Association of REALTORS® Leadership Academy (HARLA) is a dynamic leadership development program designed to cultivate the next generation of REALTOR® leaders. Through a unique blend of individual study, group learning, and hands-on project experience, HARLA empowers participants to grow personally and professionally while gaining the skills, confidence, and perspective needed to lead with authenticity and impact.
HARLA prepares REALTORS® to elevate the industry, strengthen their local and state associations, and serve their communities with purpose. Graduates emerge with a clear leadership vision, practical tools, and a strong network of peers, ready to step into leadership roles within the REALTOR® organization and beyond.
The goal of HARLA is to develop leaders who will elevate the real estate industry, strengthen Hawai'i REALTORS® as the state association, support local associations, and give back to their communities. HARLA graduates are prepared to lead, inspire, and build a strong pipeline of future volunteers and industry advocates.
The application period for 2026 HARLA has closed. The current class is being selected and will be announced soon.
Participation in the program is open to all Hawai'i REALTORS® and REALTOR® Association staff. Space is limited to no more than 16 participants each year. Applicants selected for the program must attend all sessions and pay a $1,250 tuition fee. This fee covers program sessions, handout materials, lodging and meals. The tuition does not include airfare or travel expenses, which are the responsibility of the participant.
