California Association of REALTORS® Asks for Help to Assist Victims of Wildfires

Wildfires in the Northern and Southern parts of California are now the deadliest in the state’s history. As of November 16, the fires have destroyed thousands of structures, taken more than 60 lives and counting, and wiped away the entire town of Paradise.

The California Association of REALTORS® (C.A.R.) has received messages asking for help after thousands of people were displaced by the fires, many of them part of the REALTOR® family. C.A.R.’s Disaster Relief Fund provides grants to help members of the REALTOR® family – REALTORS®, their staff, and Association staff who have incurred losses from disasters.  They are also working closely with the REALTORS® Relief Foundation which provides grants for housing-related costs to victims of disasters. Donating to either one of these funds would go a long way in helping the impacted communities.
