Please be advised that the Hawai‘i REALTORS® Board of Directors will be voting on bylaw changes at their meeting scheduled for July 28, 2022 at 10 a.m.

The meeting will be held in a hybrid format at the Honolulu Country Club and via Zoom.  If you would like to attend via Zoom, please register in advance.

Copies of the existing bylaws, as well as the amended bylaws, are posted below. This includes a full red-line annotated version which shows the changes that will be voted on:

This notice is being issued in accordance with the existing Bylaws (2020), Article XIII – Notices and Amendments, Section 2. Amendments by the Board of Directors:

These Bylaws may be amended at a meeting of the Board of Directors by the affirmative vote of two-thirds (2/3) of the Directors present and qualified to vote at any meeting at a quorum is present, the substance of the such proposed amendment or amendments shall be published at least thirty (30) days in advance of the meeting. Unless a petition is received five (5) days prior to the Board of Directors meeting, bearing the signature of five percent (5%) of the membership, requesting that one or more of the proposed amendments be brought for vote before the membership, the Directors action shall be final.

Notice of adoption of any amendments to bylaws by the Board of Directors will be published in official publication and/or on the official website of the Association.
