The Institute of Real Estate Management is a professional association affiliated with the National Association of REALTORS® and dedicated to education and certifying real estate management professionals for all types of properties. For over 60 years, IREM has been awarding the Certified Property manager or CPM designation to those real estate professionals who meet the experience, education and ethical conduct requirements.

CPM members are trained in depth to analyze a property's physical and fiscal performance and implement policies and procedures to enhance short-term and long-term property value. All of IREM's education programs strive to make real estate managers more knowledgeable, more sensitive to current market conditions and more valuable to property owners and investors.
